The China-America Association for Public Affairs (中国留美公共管理学会) was established in 2008 to foster research collaboration and academic exchanges between China and the U.S. in public affairs.

Welcome to join us if you are studying, teaching, or researching public affairs in the United States, if you have related experiences before. Together we can make a difference!

News and Announcements

The 8th Chinese Forum on Public Administration will be held on June 29-30, 2019 at the Zhou Enlai School of Government, Nankai University in Tianjin, China. Please find a Call for Abstracts and registration info by clicking here.

Inaugural Workshop on Urban Governance will be held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 11-12, 2018. The workshop is co-hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nankai University, and CAAPA. Please find here the call for abstracts.

CAAPA mourns the sad passing of Dr. Wen Wang (Past President, 2017-2018). Please find here the obituary for Dr. Wang.

CAAPA launches two annual awards for our members: "CAAPA Best Student Paper Award" and "Wen Wang Award for Best Young Scholar Paper." The Wen Wang Award (王闻奖) is established in memory of Dr. Wen Wang, CAAPA President, 2017-2018, for his significant contribution to the research collaboration and academic exchanges between China and United States in the field of public affairs and his mentorship to young scholars.
